Happy Birthday Noelle!

Well, Noelle turned 1 on December 20th, here is a video of us singing Happy Birthday to Noelle! I taught her what to do with a candle but she chickened out on me!!! Oh well, she had such a great birthday and lots of great gifts! She loved her cake and she also loved the balloons we bought for her! She had a very fun, busy day! Can't believe my baby girl is 1!

SANTA!!!!!!!

We took Noelle to the mall to see Santa, she did soooooooo good! I did not know what to expect if she was going to be afraid or not. She kept turning around and looking at him, I think she wanted to tug on his beard....lol She got so excited, she was talking and waving her hands in the hair, it was soooo cute. Uncle Andrew went with her so Noelle wouldn't be afraid!

Let it Snow!

Woke up this morning to a Winter Wonderland and Noelle absolutely loved watching the snow fall. She would point and try to touch the snow and even talk to it. It was such a nice surprise to wake up to and I took this with my camera phone so it isn't the best picture.

11 months old today!

She is looking out the window and wouldn't look at mommy when I was taking the picture...lol

Noelle is 11 months old today....WOW can't even believe it!! One more month until we celebrate her first birthday! Feels like yesterday I was pulling into the hospital to get ready to have her.

This past month we have introduced food and it is the real deal, she is doing really good with everything so far. Mommy gets really nervous about her choking on stuff but we are working slowly, and I know Noelle loves to eat! She still hasn't taken her first step yet but she is sooooo close, she wants to but then chickens out at the last moment. I am so proud of her she is such a big now and so smart. If I say the sheep says"baa" she will repeat it the "baa" part and we are working on a cow says "moo".Noelle has 8 teeth now, yes 8!!! It is such a pain in the butt when they are teething and I feel so bad for her she is just miserable and pulling at her mouth. Poor baby:( Just wanted to give you a little update on her, I am sure there is more but I will save those for another post! Oh yeah, isn't her Elmo outfit adorable, she loves her Elmo!

Here are a couple pictures of Noelle playing, she really enjoys playing with Little People, Aunt Ericka and cousins Dougie and Ian gave her some Little People that they use to play with and we definitely use them alot. Noelle is hoping Santa Clause will bring her more for Christmas! She also LOVES to read books and of course chew on them, all of her books are so chewed up on the corners...lol. The other night we went out shopping and we found this really small baby doll and Noelle just thought it was the neatest thing, she would just hold it and talk to it in her baby talk, it was so cute. She really likes to play with all of her many toys!

Yummy Food!

Here are some pictures of Noelle getting to eat some real food and she really seems to like it!! She had a really hard time with the baby food with some allergies but so far we have been good with the real stuff. The first three pictures are of her eating some mash potatoes on her own and she loves to feed daddy or mommy some of it and she will even make the sound effect "mmmmm" after she takes or gives a bite. The last picture she is eating some toast which she really likes, some other things that I have been giving her lately is pancakes, scrambled eggs, and cheese. We are having fun trying new foods!

The pumpkin patch!

These pictures are from when we took a trip to the pumpkin patch a couple weeks ago, we sure had alot of fun! We met up with my family and Steve's mom was in town visiting, so we had a great time! Noelle really liked her lil' pumpkin she really likes to hold it!

Happy Halloween!

Noelle was a pretty princess for Halloween and she sure was pretty! We had alot of fun trick or treating and Noelle got a big bucket of candy which she is graciously giving it to her mommy and daddy, except the lollipops. We really enjoyed our first Halloween with Noelle, we are looking forward to many more!

Still visiting in Michigan......

Sorry there is no picture this post, I am still visiting in Michigan until Sunday. It is a little longer than I anticipated but it is just fine, we are enjoying the extra time that we can visit with family. Noelle is loving it and really getting ready to walk, she is pulling herself up on anything that she can and she is walking along the furniture very well, so it won't be long till my baby girl will be walking! She turned 10 months on the 20th and I just can't believe it, 2 more months and she will be 1! She is such a sweet baby, she really adjusts well to whatever we do! We both REALLY miss Daddy back home and we are really excited to see him, it has been hard to be apart for 2 weeks. Keep checking back and when I return I will get some new pics up, I know I have a bunch on my camera.

We are having a great time visiting in Michigan, Noelle is getting to spend some time with her grandparents and getting to know them a little better. We went shopping all day Tuesday and this is poor Noelle passed out sleeping, Mommy really likes to shop! We bought this cute stroller at JcPenny's along with some cute outfits that Grandma and Grandpa Gandee bought! We miss Daddy very much, he is still in Pa working so very hard! This is our first time being separated so it was very sad to be away, but we are really glad we get to spend this time with our family!

Update!!

Okay time for a update, things have been a little bit crazy lately! Noelle and I have been sick this past week, it started off as a fever and she was teething pretty bad so I thought she would be getting another tooth soon and that was the reason for the fever, but that was not the case! She ended up with a really bad cold, which she was achy, coughing, sneezing, and very cranky! Steve and I did not get sleep this past week and I ended up catching the cold from her, and she did eventually get another tooth through the whole ordeal so now she has a total of 4! We are so glad she is doing much better, she went to the doctor's twice in the past week and she is now starting to be herself again.

We have alot going on this month, Sunday, October 5th is my 25th birthday, wow can't believe I will be that old! Also, it is my parents 35th wedding anniversary so that will be a day to celebrate, hopefully I can get some pictures up of that! Then then the next weekend we have Steve's mom coming out for a visit, which we are excited to see her! Noelle and I might be riding back with her to spend a week in Michigan, spending time with the Gandee family and catching up with some old friends. Lastly we have Halloween, we are really looking forward to that this year and maybe by then Noelle will be walking, she is really trying to already. Papa and Grandma!

Noelle is 9 months old now and she sure is getting big! Here is 2 pictures of Noelle, both at Papa and Grandma Olson's house, she loves going over to Papa and Grandma's! She enjoys spending time with them and she really likes to play in the basement with all the fun toys. Grandma bought her a baby doll, which is soooo cute!! We were getting ready to leave and we looked down and Noelle had her arm around her baby. She loves babies, real and fake ones! We really enjoy spending time with our family, we always have a real good time together!

Big girl in the highchair!

Noelle loves going out to eat with mommy and daddy because now she gets to sit in a highchair at the table with us. I bring along her cup and crackers and she has a fun time! She gets sooooo excited when we put her in it, usually gives us a giggle and then she starts kicking her feet back and forth. We got this really neat cover that goes on top of highchairs and also on shopping carts to protect them from germs, plus it gives them a little cushioning so she won't bump her head.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Steve turned 23 on Sept 15th!!! We had a wonderful day, Steve was able to get the day off so we were able to sleep in. I took him out for his Birthday dinner to Outback, soooooo good! We had a little birthday party for him with my family, it was very nice! I hope he had a great day!

Shopping!

We went shopping at the Carter's Outlet to get Noelle a fall coat and we had Noelle try on some hats, this one was so cute! Noelle cracks me up, when we put in her in the stroller this way she right away grabs hold of the side bars and holds on so tightly. She does this the whole time we push her around! She also cut through another tooth this week, so she has 2 on the bottom and one on top and she cut 2 teeth within a week!! Poor baby! (Took this picture with my camera phone)

Second tooth cut through!

So Noelle cut through her second tooth last night and it is on the bottom also, poor baby girl :( It is so hard to see them hurt like that! Steve actually discovered this one, he just happened to check inside her mouth and there it was like a little razor, you wouldn't think that they would be so sharp, but they can really bite down hard ( you know what I mean if you are a nursing mother, yikes!!!!) She is acting alot better now and she has recently learned how to clap, Noelle and I went to Papa and Grandma Olson's house on Monday night to spend some time with them and she was sitting on Papa's lap and just started to clap her hands together. So of course we all said"Yay" and clapped with her and she was giving such a serious face to us, you could tell she was really concentrating on clapping, we just had to laugh! No new picture for this post I need to charge my battery and start taking some pictures again. We are really looking forward to the fall season and all the fun in entailes. You will definately seem some pics of all the fun we will have!

Look at me, I can stand up!

I was cleaning up in Noelle's room while she was playing in her crib and I look over and there she was standing up looking at me. I am so proud of her!! She has already pulled herself up from small things, but this was the first really big stand-up for her. She also kept looking through the crib bars at me, it was so darn cute, I had to post a pic of that too!

Labor Day

I took these pictures of Noelle on Labor Day, we got to have a nice and relaxing day with my family. It was a beautiful day with the sun out shining so nice and we got to have a delicious picnic prepared by my mother. Noelle is 8 1/2 months now and the time sure does go by fast, she has learned to say "da da" and that is all we hear from her now. The second picture she looks like she is giving a serious pose!

Playing peek-a-boo

This is a video of Noelle playing peek-a-boo with mommy and as you can tell she thinks it is funny! At one point in the video you can see her little tooth on her bottom gums!

Big Girl

Noelle playing in her crib, she really enjoys playing on her own now, whether it is in her crib or on the floor. She has also discovered how to pull herself up to a standing position but then does not know how to get back down. She also is talking alot more baby talk she can say"ma ma", "ba ba", and we think she just started to say "da da". She has her own language of jibber jabber which we hear alot. Another funny thing she does is wave but she waves at herself. We love her so much!

More teeth!

Here we go again, Noelle just got her first tooth in the beginning of August and now she is teething really bad again. I feel so sorry for her, feels like there is nothing I can do for her to make it easier. It appears that her top teeth are coming through this time, she only has one on the bottom. I have tried to get a picture of her tooth but she will not let me so I posted this pic of Noelle and Uncle Andrew, thought it was cute.
